Hi everyone!
I don’t know about you, but I’ve been feeling a bit unmotivated lately. I think I’ve been so busy with articles, and I’m so stressed about getting them done, that it takes the pleasure out of having one of my dream jobs.
So thankfully, I heard this tip somewhere, maybe on Twitter (if you know who originally said this, LMK!) that’s helped tremendously: Start each day with the phrase “I get to.”
I get to write an article.
I get to work for this cool publication.
I get to have success (which I’m so thankful for).
I get to wake up and work (and not only that, but work a job I love).
What do you get to do today? :)
Friendly Reminder:
Don’t forget about Bonsai, a super helpful tool/resource for writers! It’s an all-in-one business management and financial suite for freelancers, small businesses, etc where you can handle invoices, proposals, and contracts, as well as access templates, tax things, task trackers, forms, surveys, and more. I’m an affiliate partner!
Now onto the writing jobs and pitch calls for my paid subscribers!
(Free subscribers: Want to see that content or make sure it’s worth it before purchasing? Here’s an new example of what you’ll get each week. If you can’t afford it, I understand—in which case I’ve got my free monthly newsletter for you with jobs, pitch calls, and more.)
